Google Pixel 2 Scheduled to be Launched on Oct. 5 Run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 Processor


After the success of Nexus and Pixel series smartphone device, Google is about to launch its new flagship device called Google Pixel 2. The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are expected to be launched by Oct. 5. The details related to this has been revealed by famous tipster Evan Blass.

If the release date and the specifications stated by Evan Blass turns out to be true then Google Pixel 2 will be the first smartphone device to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. The rumors also suggest that the device is scheduled to be launched on Oct. 5. With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor, the device will see a huge improvement in battery life and the performance of the device.

As seen in the earlier versions, the Google Pixel 2 device will not have a bezel-less display and a headphone jack which may disappoint some users. However, the bezels of the device will be narrower similar to the one seen in Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The company has planned to launch the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device in the month of September which is means after 1 year from first pixel smartphones.

The Pixel 2 device will have a large 6-inch display screen which is much larger than the previous Pixel XL device. Other rumors related to the Pixel 2 device claims that the device will have 4 GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. All the details related to the device are being mapped to the earlier Google Pixel devices.

Google Pixel devices are well known for the camera which can capture high-quality images. Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices will have a squeezable frame and camera is one of the interesting things about the device. Along with Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device, Google may launch new Google Assistant based smart headphones device also. This will help Google to compete with Apple Siri and Amazon Echo and Samsung Bixby.
