Google Have Officially Announced The Release Date For Android 8.0 Oreo

The next Android version which is Android 8.0 Oreo is about to reach the user’s smartphone device and Google has officially declared the release date for the same. Many upcoming smartphone devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG V30 and LG V30 Plus are expected to be shipped with this latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

With the buzz related to the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, many users are excited to see when this OS will reach the user’s device. However, the launch of Android OS depends on several factors like the manufacturers and now Google has officially announced the release date for the Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

Google confirmed that Android 8.0 will be released officially after the total solar eclipse. At the same time, the company also revealed that not all the smartphone devices which are compatible will experience this update at the same time. So, the question striking the users mind is that when the Android 8.0 Oreo update will roll out and which all devices will see the update?

Google has stated that Android 8.0 Oreo will first roll out to the Google Nexus and Pixel devices. The devices namely Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X will be the first one to experience this update for testing purpose. The global roll out of the Android 8.0 Oreo OS will occur in phases and Pixel C and Nexus Player device will soon see this update.

The Android 8.0 Oreo is under the beta development stage and if we consider the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat then this upcoming Android OS is expected to be launched by the end of September. Hence the smartphone users of the compatible Nexus and Pixel device can sign up for the Android Beta Program to experience this update.

Google is also actively working to bring Android 8.0 Oreo update to the devices like Essential Phone, Samsung, Motorola, LG, Nokia, Huawei, HTC and many others.
